Return Windows

Most non-perishable items purchased from Hobby Lobby can be returned within 90 days of the original purchase date for a full refund or exchange. We’ll gladly accept returns that meet our policy criteria for up to 3 months after you order.

Hobby Lobby offers convenient ways to complete your return or exchange free of charge:

In-Store Returns

You may return most eligible items to any Hobby Lobby store location nationwide with your original receipt. Refunds can be provided to the original payment method or as store credit. Exchanges for another item are also accepted.

Online Returns

For online orders, free return shipping labels can be accessed in your Order History for package return. Simply print the label, affix it to your sealed box and drop off at any UPS location. Pick-up can also be scheduled through UPS if needed.

Once received at our warehouse, your refund will be issued to the original payment method 3-5 business days after return delivery. No need to pay for return shipping!

Large Item Returns

Furniture, fitness equipment, major appliances and other oversize items require special handling and may incur restocking fees. Contact customer service to coordinate return logistics on large items.

If eligible, we may dispatch our delivery partner to retrieve the item from your address free of charge based on geography and scheduling availability. You may also choose to return large items independently to the original shipping warehouse at your own expense.

Return Requirements

Any item modified, worn, damaged or missing original packaging may be subject to partial refund or denial based on condition. We reserve the right to review each return and determine appropriate outcomes.

Custom and Special Order Items

Due to their customized nature, certain items like monogrammed products, special orders, custom framing, unique services cannot be returned or refunded. Please verify return eligibility before placing such orders. Contact us with any questions.

Clearance and Promotional Products

All merchandise sold on clearance or marked down for promotional events is final sale only. We cannot accept returns or provide refunds on those special priced items. Exchanges may be offered for sizing or defective merchandise.

Artwork and Wall Decor

Unframed artwork, canvases, mirrors or framed pieces over 40 inches cannot be returned if protective wrap has been removed. Please use extreme care and refrain from removing protective materials until item has been fully inspected. If wrap is taken off, the product cannot be resold so returns will not be allowed.

Exchange Process

If you would prefer to exchange your purchase for a different item instead of requesting a refund, Hobby Lobby will gladly accommodate exchanges at no charge subject to the following guidelines:

Refund Exceptions

While we make every effort to accept returns, the following conditions may warrant only a partial refund or denial of return at the company’s discretion:

Receiving Refunds and Exchanges

Once your return is received and inspected at our processing facility, it will take 2-3 business days for the refund to be issued. Here is what you can expect:

If your refund is not received within 1 week of your return delivery, please contact Hobby Lobby Customer Service for assistance investigating the status. We’ll work quickly to resolve the situation and reissue your refund.

Damaged or Defective Items

On occasion, merchandise may arrive damaged or with defects impacting use. Please notify us promptly within 30 days of receiving a damaged item for replacement at no charge. After 30 days, normal return policy rules apply.

When damage is reported over the phone or web chat, Hobby Lobby typically requests photos of the damage to validate and determine best resolution. Based on the severity, we may request return of damaged item or simply ship replacements. Our goal is the fastest solution.

For defective items failing normal use despite proper care, contact Customer Service right away for repair, exchange or refund options. We stand behind our products and want you completely satisfied with your purchase.

Gifting Returns

Items received as gifts can be returned or exchanged just like any other purchase. To look up order information, please ask the gift giver to provide the original order number, recipient name/address and approximate date of purchase.

Without order details, we may still be able to process the return but will need to verify purchase timeframe and location. Items will be refunded as in-store credit or back to the purchaser’s original method whenever possible.

Lost or Stolen Returns

Please retain your receipts and handle merchandise with care until satisfactory inspection. Hobby Lobby is not responsible for lost or stolen packages whether in transit or possession of the customer. Consider insurance for valuable shipments.

In the rare event an order arrives as expected but goes missing before you can inspect, we’ll gladly assist you after an investigation. Contact Customer Service as soon as possible and be ready to provide helpful timestamps, photos or other details on what occurred.

Stopped or Refused Orders

If an order is stopped or refused at pickup before accepting ownership, please contact Hobby Lobby immediately so we can arrange re-delivery or process a refund as needed. Until merchandise is in your possession, the sale is not considered complete.

For refused packages, carriers typically attempt delivery 3 times before returning to the shipper. We’ll work on next steps during this process but let us know right away if an order is refused so the situation can be addressed promptly.

Price Adjustments

If an item you purchased goes on promotion or sale shortly after your order, contact Customer Service within 14 days of original purchase date to request a price match refund for the difference. Unfortunately, no adjustments can be made after the initial 2 week period.
