Delivery Timeframes

Hobby Lobby provides standard ground shipping on all orders delivered within the continental United States. You can expect to receive your order within 5-7 business days after it leaves our fulfillment centers. Business days are considered Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

For expedited delivery options including 2-day or next day shipping, additional charges will apply. Cutoff times determine if an order ships the same day or the following business day. See the Expedited Shipping section below for more details.

For orders being delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and the US Virgin Islands, additional transit time is required. Delivery timeframes can range between 5-14 business days through standard shipping methods.

For international orders, delivery timeframes vary significantly depending on the destination country. On average, standard international delivery can take 14-21 business days from the date of shipment. However, delays are possible due to customs clearance procedures,local postal operations and other regulating factors.

Hobby Lobby aims to ship all items from our warehouse within 2 business days after an order is successfully placed and confirmed. However, exceptions can occur during peak ordering seasons when order volumes are higher than normal.

If an item is unexpectedly out of stock or discontinued after an order is placed, we may require additional processing time up to 5 additional business days. Hobby Lobby will notify customers immediately if additional delays are expected so alternative solutions can be presented.

Order Processing Cutoff Times

Hobby Lobby processes orders at several fulfillment centers located throughout the United States. Each location has specific cutoff times for same-day handling.

Orders must be successfully entered and verified before the cutoff time for your items to ship that same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff will be processed the following business day.

2-Day Shipping

The 2-day shipping option ensure faster delivery to any address within the contiguous United States, Transit time excludes Saturday and Sunday. Additional charges apply based on order subtotal:

To qualify for 2-day shipping, orders must be placed before 2 PM Eastern Time. Orders received after 2 PM will upgrade to 3-day service and the charge will be adjusted accordingly. 2-day orders ship Monday – Thursday to meet the guaranteed delivery date. Friday orders will ship Monday under 3-day.

Next Day Shipping

For the fastest delivery, Hobby Lobby offers next day shipping to most addresses within the contiguous United States. Orders will arrive by 4:30 PM local time the next business day after shipping. Additional charges apply based on order subtotal:

To receive next day shipping, orders must be successfully entered before 12 PM Eastern Time. Next day orders ship Monday – Thursday only to meet guaranteed delivery date. Friday orders will upgrade to 2-day shipping for Monday delivery.

Next day delivery is not available for PO Box or APO/FPO addresses. Other delivery restrictions may apply.

Saturday Delivery

In select areas, Hobby Lobby can deliver orders on Saturday for an additional $12.99 fee. To qualify, orders must be placed before 2 PM Eastern Time on Thursday.

Saturday delivery is limited to certain eligible zip codes. Check the cart at checkout to confirm if Saturday delivery is available for your address.

Hobby Lobby is not liable for any shipping delays or undelivered orders caused by instances outside of our control. Inclement weather, natural disasters, local disruptions or other unforeseen issues can impact promised delivery dates. We will communicate any significant delays and provide resolution options.

Order Tracking

Hobby Lobby will provide tracking information as soon as possible after an order ships. Tracking numbers will update on your Order Details page as well as in shipping confirmation emails.

To check the status at any time, visit our website and enter your order number and ZIP code. You can also access tracking directly through shipping carrier websites.

Tracking information includes the shipping company, status (in-transit, out for delivery etc) and last scan location. Delivery details are also provided including date, time and location. Tracking updates in real-time until final delivery confirmation.

Shipment Protection

We encourage customers to thoroughly inspect packages upon delivery and note any visible damage before signing. If contents appear broken or containers are severely crushed/punctured, refuse the shipment or document those exceptions on the carrier’s delivery receipt.

Hobby Lobby will work directly with the shipping company if damage claims need to be filed after delivery. Digital photos are helpful to share the extent of damage for proper claim processing. All original packaging should be retained for potential inspection by the carrier.

For added protection, Shipment Insurance can be purchased on any order for just $2 per $100 of coverage. This insures the actual value of merchandise against loss or damage up to the coverage limit selected. More details are available during checkout.

Return Shipping

In the event you need to return an item, Hobby Lobby provides pre-paid return labels for a full refund or exchange of most eligible purchases. Simply login to your Order History, select Return Items, print the provided return label, affix it to your package and drop off at any UPS location or schedule a free pick-up.

For large items like furniture or oversize artwork, free pick-up may be offered through our delivery partners. Contact customer service to coordinate return logistics on large items.

If returning from outside the contiguous US, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping. Once received at our returns warehouse, your refund will be issued including any original shipping fees paid.

Freight Shipping

Oversize, heavy items like furniture, fitness equipment and major appliances require special freight delivery which is handled outside of our standard shipping processes.

During checkout, oversized items will present freight shipping options with pricing based on item weight and destination zip code. Delivery timeframe is typically 5-7 business days from shipment. Additional fees apply for expedited delivery.

For large items, customers may be contacted after order submission to confirm delivery address details, schedule delivery appointments and collect any additional shipping balances outside of the original estimated pre-payment.

Freight items generally deliver unassembled directly to your door via semi-truck. Inside delivery and basic assembly may be offered as additional services for a fee in most areas. Contact us if you have special needs or requirements.

Shipping Costs

Hobby Lobby provides transparent shipping rates with no hidden costs or surprises. Shipping charges display during checkout based on items, shipping method and destination zip code. Any taxes and duties are also calculated upfront if applicable.

For online orders, standard shipping is free within the 48 contiguous United States for all purchase amounts. Only expedited shipping options carry additional fees as outlined in this policy.

For orders shipping outside the 48 states, applicable shipping costs are calculated and shown before order completion. No charges will be applied afterwards without consent.

On occasion, shipping cost adjustments may be necessary if significant overages occur compared to original box weight estimates. This is usually only necessary for heavy or bulky items like craft machines. Any charges greater than $10 above the pre-payment require customer approval before processing.

Sales Tax
